Google search turns up nothing. The question has been asked here in the past, but no answers thus far. Does anyone know what this is?

What is ZhuGeSupport.framework service on macOS? Hi, a similar question has already been asked in "The mystery of ZhuGe Service?" thread. Though, it was suggested that this services was "just a part of coreaudio", it still looks suspicious. Purpose of XPCservices and Agent related to an Application Just for general knowledge what is the purpose of XPCServices and Agent related to a specific application? I will try to give you an example. I noticed when I launch the Calendar Application I see the following 2 processes running: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CalendarNotification.framework/Versions/A/XPCServices/CalNCService.xpc/Contents/MacOS/CalNCService /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CalendarAgent.framework/Executables/CalendarAgent

It is a Unix executable located in this file path: (If you copy and paste this path into your Finder Go menu > Go to folder it will take you to the file.) No idea what it does.

Also interested in that. Looks like related to apple mail or any internet account service. Sometimes I am unable to quit Mail, Quit command is grayed out. 'com.apple.hiservices-xpcservice is not responding' shows up in activity monitor.
