There is no way to transfer an app no longer in the App Store. Your iPhone has the installed app, not the installer bundle for that app. The installer only reside(d) in the App Store, so if the app’s been pulled, there‘s nowhere to get its installer from.

Hey DaBurner,

I hear you're trying to get a certain app from your iPhone 6 to your new iPad. Congratulations on your new iPad! I'd love to help out.

In this situation, I'd recommend using the steps here to redownload the app on your iPad using these steps:

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store - Apple Support

Cheers!

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I do know of the iTunes download approach, but that will not work in my case.

The one particular app on my iPhone 6 is no longer available in iTunes and I like the features of this app a lot.

I use it all the time on my phone and would like it on my new iPad

I was hoping there was a specific way to transfer just this one app to my new iPad.

Since few have responded, it may not be possible to do so.
