thunderbolt display cable not long enough

I have a thunderbolt display but the cable isn't long enough to reach my new retina imac. I have a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter but what I really need is a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 extension cable. About 3 feet. Does that exist?

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS High Sierra (10.13.4), 40 GB RAM

Plug the Thunderbolt-3 end of the adapter

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMEL2AM/A/thunderbolt-3-usb-c-to-thunderbolt- 2-adapter

into the computer.

Connect a long Thunderbolt cable (not Thunderbolt-3)

https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MD861LL/A/apple-thunderbolt-cable-20-m

from the adapter to the Thunderbolt port on the back of the Thunderbolt display.

You can use the display's Thunderbolt cable to connect other Thunderbolt devices, if needed.
