Keep texts on locked screen until I open them?

(Not a native English speaker so please bear with me)

My question is if it's possible to still have the texts I haven't read yet on the locked home screen, I don't wanna swipe or click anything to see them, like is it possible for them to just stay there until I've opened the messages app and read them?
