My wife passed away this past June and we dated for about two years. Knowing what the future held, we married in April, 2019. I am trying to download my entire text thread (about two years worth of texting between us) and seamlessly read it. Any suggestions on how this can be accomplished? Thanks.

Hi mike607,

You should be able to do this by opening the Messages App on the Mac, selecting the particular thread and then scrolling to the top/beginning of the conversation.

Then in the File Menu you can select Print and then chose to save it as a PDF rather then sending it to the printer.

Hi,

I know of no way to make the iPhone print out any part or the whole of an iMessages or SMS conversation.

HI,

As I said in my first reply it can be done on a Mac.

I also made that issue specific in my reply to the other poster Elliekeys

I am sure that you should be able to Print them from an iPhone.

However looking for a Setting/Button/Option I could not find one in iOS 12's version and as I have both Mac and iPhone the Mac tends to be my first device.

I have spent more time looking for a Print option on the iPhone but still have not found it.

Hi,

I also cannot find an option to use a Share button that normally gives Apps the access to print.

On my iPad I am using iOS 12.0.1
