resizing photos resolution for uploading

Need to upload a photo and site accept only this dimensions, Photo resolution should be between (1024px x 768px) and (4000px x 4000px), am trying hard with the 'preview tools' but impossible to doit, any assistance pls ?

You will have to export the photo out of the library to the Desktop with a Size = Custom setting to reduce the pixel dimensions of the image. User the Custom size and pick the maximum dimension (either width, length or either):

So pick which dimension you want to set, or if you're exporting both landscape and portrait use "Dimension".

You want to limit the pixel dimensions of the images you upload to a maximum of 1024 to 4000 pixels, right?


You must maintain the aspect ratio of the images so you need to restrict the largest dimension to something between 1024 and 4000 pixels.


That's what you do when you export as shown in my screenshot, limit the largest dimension to the value you enter in the "of: xxxx" field.
