No Network Detected, Apple TV 4K

I get the 'No Network Detected' Message on my Apple TV 4K that pops up too. When this happens, it stops the Home Sharing and restarts the network connection and then starts working right away, but it does this right in the middle of watching tv shows or music videos. The only thing with mine is...I'm connected through an ethernet cable. and not WiFi. I tried switching to WiFi but it did the same thing. Bizarre problem, but it happens on every 4K I have. I even bought a brand new Apple Airport Base, plus I've tried it on several networks. The same problem. But only from Apple TV 4K. None of the other products do this. I have been using.....Apple TV 3, 4, and 4k. And I have plenty of each. All the same problems. I have no idea as I'm not a networking specialist. Does anybody else have any suggestions? Thanks.

If this happens with iTunes Home Sharing only, then consider the source: the computer that is serving the files. It could be running a rogue process that is hindering its local server functionality.

  • Make sure the computer doesn’t go to sleep, in System Preferences﹥Energy Saver.
  • Make sure the computer never stalls for a few seconds, by having a lean and clean system without 3rd party ‘cleaner’ apps that only cause problems.
