Can’t get raid admin1.5.1 to connect to my Xserve RAID.

I am using a Mac Pro (mid 2010) running macOS Sierra. To control and hopefully manage my Xserve RAID.

the drives I have setup mount through the fiber Chanel card. But when I run raid admin1.5.1 and try to add the array to the software it prompts my for the password which I type in ”public” and all the buttons in the software go grey and don’t do anything.

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Chris.

You have to connect an ethernet cable (two preferably) to the Xserve RAID before you can use RAID Admin. It won't work using fibre channel alone. Make sure you've a DHCP server on your network as that way the Xserve RAID will get an IP address in the same range as the rest of your workstations.
