I need to free up space on my iCloud, but I cannot do that unless I delete the last backup from my old iPhone that I do not have anymore. If I delete that backup, will any of my data from my current iPhone be deleted?
No. Deleting any iPhone backup has no effect on your current phone´s data. It´s just gone, no longer available. But do make sure that you do a current backup of your new phone as soon as possible! And if you connect your phone to a Mac or PC with iTunes installed then you can do a backup of your phone without having to worry about iCloud space, as these backups are stored on your Mac/PC.
