Keyboard clicks, lock sound, some game sounds stopped working

For reasons unknown, the sound on some but not all games have stopped working. Also noticed that lock sound and keyboard clicks are not working as well. Everything is set to ON. It was working earlier before I did some video... but video sound is working fine.

On the iPhone, there is a switch, but nothing on the iPad to unmute (even though it's not actually muted, since other sounds, including music, work).

I am baffled. Little help needed.

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11.4.1

If your iPad doesn’t have a side switch next to the volume controls have you checked Control Centre (swipe up from the bottom edge of the iPad’s screen) to see if you’ve muted notification sounds via the icon (a bell) there ?

Looks like that was it. Who would have thought that a golden bell would mean silence mode. Not very intuitive, Apple. Maybe "silence is golden?"
