Can you delete photo libraries?

I have a MyCloud external hard drive that I’m saving photos to. I want to move all of my photo libraries over to it so that I can eventually delete them off my computer for more space. Can this be done where I can still access my photos from the Ext. hard drive?

No, you can't delete the photos from your Mac's drive. The iCloud Drive is just a syncing service so any file you put on it will be mirrored on your Mac's drive.

If you want to store photos off your Mac then use a local, external HD formatted OS X Extended (journaled) and connected directly to your Mac by cable.
