iphone 8 trouble getting emails

Having trouble getting email on iPhone 8. Have no issues on other devices, iPad, Mac book etc. my phone sees the emails tries to download but doesnt. When I delete and reinstall account they all come in and no issue for the rest of the day. Next day same scenario all over again. Have been using this account for years on Apple products with no issue. I have seen other comments very similar. Has anyone resoloved this? Thanks for any help.
