Emails not displaying in seperate window when clicked in Mail's inbox window, the header appears in the Window menu but unable to find message
Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
Do you have 3 sections - the mailbox Sidebar, the Preview column, and the pane where you see the email?
Try rebuilding the mailbox.
If that doesn't work, try re-indexing the mailboxes. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.
Reindex messages For El Capitan, try looking in V3. Sierra use V4. High Sierra use V5.
