Windows 10 not supported on MacBook Pro (13" Early 2011)?

I recently got my old MacBook Pro (13" Early 2011) back, and for some reason it only allows Windows 7 to be installed via BootCamp, but I can upgrade later to Windows 10 completely fine. Does anyone know the reason behind this? Is BootCamp limited on older models?

MacBook Pro, macOS High Sierra (10.13.6)

bootcamp is

1 a setup tool on osx

2 a bootloader which can load the os of the users choice

3 a packet of drivers for the mac spec features in windows

the reason older models are not supported officially is 3 making and maintaining and troubleshooting windows drivers for older models would likely be costly

I too like you installed win7 on my mid 2011 imac and then upgraded from 7 to 10 but the tool beside the clock in windows stopped working and windows could no longer access the osx hd and likely some other features that I did not take advantage of because I did not use the apple keyboard or touchpad

over time windows began taking long to boot, last windows update made windows stop booting at all
