Hello Jarrah,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you would like to use FaceTime on your iPod. I would be happy to help point you towards a resolution.

The first step would be to determine if FaceTime is available on your iPod. Check out the following support article for requirements and to learn how to use FaceTime:

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Specifically, here are the requirements:

Over Wi-Fi, you can use FaceTime on any of these devices:

  • iPhone 4 or later
  • iPad Pro (all models)
  • iPad 2 or later
  • iPad mini (all models)
  • iPod touch 4th generation or later (only iPod touch 5th generation or later support FaceTime audio calling)

FaceTime isn’t available or might not appear on devices purchased or used in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. However, with iOS 11.3 or later, FaceTime is available on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch in Saudi Arabia.

If your iPod meets the requirements for using FaceTime, however the app is missing from your device, follow the steps here:

Find or restore a missing FaceTime app - Apple Support

If you're encountering an error message, or you are experiencing other issues when using FaceTime on your iPod, here's a resource that could help:

If you can't make a FaceTime call on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Cheers!
