Basically, switched from Android to IOS and made a backup with iCloud. A lot of my iMac files popped up. I’d like to know if i can delete them on this phone without deleting them on my Mac.
If you are syncing the files with iCloud, iCloud is a syncing system, not an external storage system. If you delete the file from the phone, it will delete from the Mac.
Yeah, yesterday i used my Mac for the first time in a while, i tried deleting a file and it just deleted the file on the phone. I checked my iMac and only thing that happened to the file was that it didn’t have the cloud logo next to the file(meaning it’s not in iCloud). I’m guessing this is because the original file in is the Mac?
The original file is on the Mac.
If i delete a file from iCloud drive, will it also delete it from my iMac?
