MacBook Pro 10.13.6 won't recognize Roland Td-11k V drums at all

I have a Roland Td-11k virtual drum set and I'm running the current driver for it (1.0.3) on my 2015 MacBook Pro and it will not recognize the set at all. I run the driver in system preferences and It displays the warning "The device could not be found. This settings will automatically become effective when the device is connected the next time." Ive tried numerous usb cables and ports and still no luck. Also have tried finding the device in Audio Midi Setup with no luck. All I want to do is have the drum set send a midi signal to Ableton 10 through Usb a to b to trigger software instruments. Ive ran this setup prior on on my Pc running Windows 10 and it worked like a charm. I don't know if this a problem on High Sierra or just Macs in general but any input would be appreciated.

When you installed the driver did you see any warning messages. High Sierra can block some third party extensions but it should have given you a warning.

Also, almost all USB drivers need to be installed with the the device unplugged. the computer rebooted then the device plugged in.

The TD-11K uses it's own power supply, correct? if it's USB bus powered my guess is the problem lies there.

My Master keyboard doesn't work when I start Logic Pro, but unplugging and replugging its USB cable will bring it to life. IN Logic I use the Custom Transport which shows you the MIDI activity, That simplifies whether you are getting the trigger in or if it is perhaps the wrong trigger or volume issues and such. This is the second question regarding TD-11 not working with a Mac in just a couple of weeks. First of all, did you restart the Mac after installing the driver? If you did, as well as followed all the installation instructions, I suggest to take this issue to Roland's tech support. Obviously, it's something faulty on their side.

I uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it following Roland’s instructions step by step. I found out that in system preferences->security and privacy->general I had to confirm that the publisher was “Roland corporation” and clicked “allow”. Now its working great (:
