I have clicked on downgrade to 5GB-Free...but it does not allow me to click on "done" to complete this. If I click on "cancel" to close the window, will it actually complete the request for a downgrade? How can I complete the transaction?

Hello grumpynonna,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help downgrading your iCloud storage. Please verify you are following the steps as provided in this help article: Downgrade your iCloud storage - Apple Support

If you still have issues on your device, do you have another device to try downgrading from? If not, are you able to try connecting to another wireless network, or turning off the wireless connection in Settings > Wi-Fi, and using your cellular connection (if possible) to complete this?

Please be aware, this will use your cellular data until you complete the downgrade and re-enable the wireless connection back on in Settings > Wi-Fi.) Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Some people have posted they got the downgrade to work by selecting another plan first and then selecting the 5 GB plan.

Following the above does not work...it just repeats the original problem.

When I try to downgrade to Free, I can only click on "Cancel"...the "Done" button is faded out and inoperable.

(My current plan is supposed to renew on 9/24...I finally deleted payment info from my account in the event that Apple still tries to charge me.)

Nope. I tried that, but still same issue: "Done" button is inoperable/faded out.
