No ECG

Are you really suggesting the function should be denied to everyone worldwide because you can't have it in your home region? It doesn't matter how big and powerful Apple is, they have to comply with the laws of each place where their product is on sale. As a point of interest, here in UK the regulatory body will be Europe, and Apple is not exactly popular with the burro-crats of Brussels after the Irish tax fiasco.

had apple said there was no ecg in England I would have bought a new watch and phone ,,,,,,still it will now be going back tomorrow. sorry Vodafone apple should have said in there add that ecg is not available in England

I have news for you, ECG is not available anywhere outside Apple until the relevant app and WatchOS are released, probably later in the year. Sorry Vodafone, it is not your fault if the customer didn’t investigate available functionality before ordering.

Because the relevant medical body of the government for your region has not approved the watch as an ECG capable device. If/when they do that is up to that governing body.

I cant believe it why did apple on there big sell on youtube last week say that England won't be having ecg on the watch. its all sales talk.
