Hello, as we know that Apple Watch series 4 is American Health Association supported and FDA approved, will Apple Stores accept FSA card for purchasing this watch? Is this watch considered FSA eligible?

If your FSA card is like mine, Apple will 'see' a VISA or MasterCard and will accept it. I say that because I can use it at all kinds of stores but if I use it for anything but prescriptions my FSA provider requires I send a receipt showing what I purchased to validate it was a proper purchase. On a couple of occasions I've had to reimburse my FSA for an 'improper' purchase. The question is whether your FSA provider will accept the purchase as valid and my guess would be no. Check with whoever is responsible for overseeing your FSA plan - and check with your doctor. In my case my doctor recommended I purchase a smart watch type device and my health insurance covered part of the cost under its wellness program.

Your FSA Visa card is not going to work at the Apple Store. I know, I tried it. Here’s the reason. It’s only accepted at merchants that have IIAS. This is a point of sale database of FSA eligible products. Like all government rules there is an exception, a business that makes 90% of its sales with FSA eligible items does not have to have IIAS. This does not mean that you can’t buy the Apple Watch using FSA dollars. It just means you may have to pay and file for reimbursement. Alivecor does take FSA Visas for their ECG devices. When I purchased a Withings Blood Pressure Monitor at the Apple Store, I had to do this.
