after trying to upgrade my Mac book air to high sierra, it crashed and gave me a flashing question mark in a file, I tried command r and tried to fix it, it doesent let me go to the utility menu, i have tried everything pls help
Command-R after a Restart should do it.
Nothing will take you from question mark to anywhere without a Restart. Those key-combinations are called "snag-keys" because they get snagged ONLY during Startup. They do not work anywhere else.
