larger hard drive

I need a larger hard drive and want to preserve my warranty.

MacBook Pro, iOS 11.4.1

You haven't told us which computer you own so it is hard to answer the question. However any MacBook Pro made after 2015 cannot be upgraded at all. All current MacBook Airs can be upgraded (SSD only) and no MacBook can be upgraded.


If you own one of the models that can be upgraded, officially you void the warranty when you open the computer. Unofficially Apple tends (or at least in the past has tended to) ignore the upgrade unless it was implicit in the damage.
