Can I use the SF Font on my website?

So I'm going to have a website on which I will publish my portfolio, containing of App Concepts and some Art. Each project will contain of images of iPhone-sized canvasses with of course text and buttons. Can I use the San Fransisco font in these images?

Thanks in advance,

Morris

Apple restricts the usage of the typeface [San Francisco] by others. It is licensed to registered third-party developers only for the design and development of applications for Apple's platforms.[3]

As ChitlinsCC noted, since it appears you're developing an iOS app, then yes, you should be free to use San Francisco since that is the default interface font for iOS.

But as CCC also mentioned, it's a mockup you'd be using an image of on the Internet. We fellow users can't be certain of how Apple Legal would interpret the usage language. For that type of question, you can ask Apple's legal counsel on this page.

The fonts are owned and copyrighted by Apple. This is a screen shot of one of the San Francisco fonts from High Sierra. They all have the same notations.

You'll have to ask Apple about using them for your site. The copyright notice, as you can see here, says to refer to the license agreement. From how that reads, I would say maybe (to display and print content). But again, ask Apple to be sure.

E. Fonts. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License, you may use the fonts included with the

Apple Software to display and print content while running the Apple Software; however, you may only

embed fonts in content if that is permitted by the embedding restrictions accompanying the font in

question. These embedding restrictions can be found in the Font Book/Preview/Show Font Info panel.
