How do you view the history of the places you searched for in Apple Maps? I can only see the recent places I have searched for, but I need to see the places I searched for a couple months ago when doing deliveries.

No, I was trying to access data from more than a month ago. It turns out that Apple Maps will only show the most recent searches, and will delete searches if there is not enough space on the iPhone. However, if they haven’t been deleted, you can pretty much find them all in Privacy-Location Services-System Services-Significant Locations.
It would be really nice for Apple to allow you to see this list directly, rather than piecing it together under this setting. If you participate in the gig economy or use your iPhone for your small business, I hope this helps you.

I see that you're wanting to review your search history in the Maps application on your iPhone 7 Plus. I'm happy to help.
Delete Maps history on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch -- To see what you have in the search history, open Maps, touch and hold the top of the Search bar and swipe up. If the location isn't included in the list, it's been replaced by a more recent search.
