Someone log-in to my iPhone with unknown Apple ID, which is not mine.
Hi,
I am aware that it is my responsibility to put my own Apple ID on my apple devices, but in this case, my iPhone 6 has logged in with forgotten apple id. Possible reason was the the device could be played with my children after I provided them my personal Apple ID's password.
Now My device is absolutely useless because it is locked with unknown apple id.
Question: How can I unlocked my iPhone 6 and use it as normal as before?
Actions taken:
> I asked Apple support (provided to them the IMEI) they said I need to provide them the apple id logged in to that device, which I really don't know at all.
> They also asked me to provide a copy of the receipt for that device, but it was 3 years back and I can't find the receipt anymore.
Opinion: I understand that Apple is giving their best to secure all device owners but in my case, Apple is thinking that my own device is not mine because of their security procedures, which is sometimes (like in my case) not good at all.
I am the owner of this device and if someone put a different apple id in it, it seems that Apple is considering it as the new owner of that device. However, even I explain to them all the reasons, they won't unlock it for me. Hence, the value of the phone is now useless, imagine I paid for it.
Thanks.
