Though, it was suggested that this services was "just a part of coreaudio", it still looks suspicious. Or the real purpose of this service is something else, like reporting and tracking the user identification / fingerprint? And who gets this information? The name of the service suggests it has some Chinese roots... It's very strange to see such unusual naming choice for a core service, if it's really a core service. What is ARUBANETWORK ?? What is the ARUBANETWORK? This popped up on my iMac using Safari with a questions about trusting it.

Mac Cleanup Pro and Wants to Make Changes to My Computer Every time I sign in to my computer, a Mac Cleanup Pro box pops up and starts scanning my computer then tells me it has issues, primarily duplicate or unneeded files. They wants me to purchase the service. I have just been closing it out and declining the service. Now my computer has started saying Apple wants to make changes and I have to cancel it three time. It is asking for my password but I haven't entered it because I had a bad experience last year with a pop up telling me that my computer has a virus and I needed to call a number. I eventually learned that it was a scam. I read the posts from a year ago related to the Apple wanting to make changes pop up, but wanted to see if there were other suggestions now or if the Mac Cleanup Pro was legit? Thanks for your help.

Hello,

If you don’t know what it is, then you shouldn’t trust it. I’ve never heard of it. Are you getting some dialog or alert? Can you post a screenshot?

I declined the request - but I suspect this is probably something new with Mojave. It had all the trappings of a mac system popup. However, I didn't recognize it so declined the request.
