Cannot Restore iPhone

My 64GB iPhone 6 recently died. Fortunately I have a recent back up on iTunes. I now have a used 16GB 6S. I am trying to restore from my recent back up & keep getting an error message - not enough space on this phone to complete restore. Is there a way to restore selective data to my new phone?

Unfortunately, no. That would be like trying to stuff 10 lbs of flower into a 5 lb bag.

Edit: In this case 64GB into a16GB iPhone. 😐
