Apple TV remote firmware update

Blogs talked about 0x0245 as far back as 2016 afaict, long before the 4K model and the Siri Remote with the white ringed Menu button. I did the 11.4 and the 12.0 update, and those ought to include any firmware for associated devices, if applicable. I’m confident that this remote is up to date with 0x0116.

Where have you heard about a newer version firmware for the Siri Remote?

What changes should that bring?

I’m wondering, too. I’ve had constant issues with my ATV 4K remote and saw its on firmware 0x0116.. surely this is the problem. I’ve tried the ‘click play/pause four times’ trick but no luck!
