Wrong sender name shown in mail list

For a few days , many of my emails ( eg; Amazon customer service, a personal friend, etc..) were shown in the Mail list ( Mail main window) as having " Apple" as the sender.

Distrurbing.

I found some posts about this being solved by rebuilding the mailbow, which imprved nothing for me.

But I did find the cause / solution ; for some reason, my address book ( Apple Contacts) had created a mega-contact denominated " Apple" to whom thousans of email address had been added....

I have deleted this card / contact, and now the proper sender appear again.
