Wondering why I was charged for Apple music after a month when I was meant to have a 3 month free subscription

If you got an email claiming a charge, then verify its authenticity.

Identify legitimate emails from the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

Avoid phishing emails, fake 'virus' alerts, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support


Check your current subscription status.

View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support

See your purchase history in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support

If you have more than one Apple ID, then check the others as well.


When you have no idea what it is for.

If you see 'itunes.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support
