Consolidating iTunes Litbrary

The majority of my 1900 song iTunes library is consolidated, stored, and sorted in my iTunes media folder. I'm not sure if all of them are. I wanted to make sure by consolidating my library again. If I consolidate my library again, will the songs that are already in the iTunes media folder by copied again and have two copies in the folder?

When I add new songs, for whatever reason they are put sometimes in the library folder and sometimes a level up, in the iTunes folder. I deleted my iTunes library.. Hello, I had some problems with Itunes: I couldn't download songs that I had previously downloaded, which I ended up losing due to a crash. Then I thought that if I delete the library, I could manually put the songs from "purchases" back into the library and download the songs again. Apparently not. I also don't have a backup of the library, but the albums are still marked as "purchased" in the store. Can I somehow still get my songs back in the library? Best regards, Jonas B

Is there a way to find out how many artists, albums and songs you have in your library I just changed from the Zune software to itunes due to technical issues with the Zune I have used for years. With the Zune, I knew exactly how many different artists, albums and songs were in my collection. I do now see a feature with the itunes that shows me this information. It converted my music files as best I can see, but I am not completely sure if it is all there. How can I confirm that my library from my computer files were completely transfered to the itunes library?

Hi!

No, they wont. Only the stuff that is not already in your consolidated folder will be copied. You will not have two copies of your files in the same folder.
