Scrolling Caller ID and when calling numbers in IOS 12

Hi there,

I believe this started in IOS 12, but I'm not 100% sure.

Whenever a number calls me, or I call a number, the number at the top of the Phone app "scrolls" and takes five seconds to see the whole number. I just want it to display the whole number, possibly in a smaller font, and be static and not move.

Is this possible? What setting would this be located in?

Thanks.

iPhone SE, iOS 12

I have the same problem and I don't believe it has anything to do with the text size. The number displayed just fine before iOS 12 was installed and I've NEVER changed the text size.

This is yet another stupidity from Apple and why they are going to lose out to Android within 5 years. I'm a big Apple supporter (or was, anyway) but they CONTINUE to release things without testing them, and CONTINUE to make unpopular changes. And, there are a lot of things that simply don't work like 2-factor authentication (for example, when I sign in on my laptop, their 2-factor authentication system puts the code that needs to be entered right on the same device which makes the 2-factor authentication useless). But, that's a topic for another forum.
