Charger has dim light when not plugged into laptop

So I put my AC back into the window after getting through Hurricane Florence, and there was water that fell on the floor when I did. Unfortunately, my charger( at the part where it plugs into the computer ) got into the water just a tiny bit. It didn't even seem to hit the metal , and from what I saw the larger part of the charger wasn't even wet.

Problem is, now the charger is showing a dim green light whenever it's plugged into the wall. Even when I have it unplugged from the laptop. I was hoping I could fix the issue myself without needing to empty my pockets for a new charger... Can anyone help?
