I am unable to send emails in mail app since upgrading to IOS 12.
Can anyone assist with this issue.
Try re-entering the username and password in the Settings - Accounts & Passwords.
For your info, I tried to connect to smtp.eclipse.co.uk over port 25 (that's the default SMTP port) but I kept getting disconnected. Perhaps the problem is on the (Eclipse) server side.
Had same issue try this (you will require your apple ID & passwor later...)
settings> General> Reset> Reset all settings ... yes!
it will reset your device and reload/boot your iPhone or iPad
then your emails should work.

Great that you've fixed the problem. However, your outgoing mail server setting isn't secure. I don't know if your mail provider offer secure (SSL/TLS) SMTP connection. If they do, you should use it. The only way to find out is to contact Eclipse support.
What happens when you send out an email? Note: do not tell us "it does not work".
Who is your email provider? Were you able to send out email before the upgrade?

Have reset as suggested but to no avail.
Will ticket Eclipse to see if they can solve it.
It looks as though it maybe their end as you suggest.
