I solved this quite annoying issue with a quick solution that I would like to share as an easy-to-use practical tutorial as well.

Two extensions from Chrome and Safari should be uninstalled. The following extensions and any extensions with similar names. (these two extensions was on in my laptop, in yours might be a bit different names).

From Safari:

go to preferences,

User uploaded file

then select Extensions Tab:

User uploaded file

>> now simply hit Uninstall button.

hint: you should do it two times sometimes to work!

---- for Chrome, follow the below instructions

and in chrome:

Open Preferences:

User uploaded file

from the new window, click the three-line icon to open a left-hand list:

User uploaded file

you could see the following list:

User uploaded file

from that select extensions:

User uploaded file

now simply hit 'Remove' under 'TotalResultsSearch'.

I hope it helps.
