Yesterday I updated my iPhone X to iOS 12 and my Apple Watch 3 to WatchOS 5. Since then my watch does not show the music that is playing on my phone. As I type this I have music playing on my phone and on the watch it shows the phone is “Not Playing”. Everything else is syncing, text messages, etc
Restart didn't work, but a simple unpairing/repairing of the watch with my iPhone 7Plus solved the issue.
