Listening to Apple Music without internet

Hello. I just get started using Apple Music. I have like a discount for a students. The question is why i can’t listen to music when I don’t have internet? I think I downloaded it, but when no internet all my music doesn’t work. And I can’t listen it. How can I listen to it withoit internet? Or it’s impossible?
