I'm running High Sierra 10.13.6, and now I can't install the Premium version of MalwareBytes. The process stops dead at changing the Prefs/Security setting to allow the MWB extension to be installed. Punching "Allow" doesn't do anything. I don't think this is a new problem. is there a fix for it yet?

As far as it being a new problem or not, I've installed it a few times on a few Macs just to test and didn't run into a problem.
Did you unlock System Preferences first? Click the padlock on the bottom left?

OK, I tried that, and it made a difference, but the results are the same. No Premium activation. The difference is that, before I restarted in Safe Mode, I was getting the generalized warning on the Privacy/Security prefs pane about "Unauthorized applications are attempting...", and now the message has changed to "The application MalwareBytes is attempting..."blah blah blah.

Sorry. I just mean the boilerplate in the prefs pane. It's actually " System software from [an unknown developer] was blocked from loading". I'll talk to Malware. Thanks.
