My personal hotspot is not working

Having the same issue with Spectrum Mobile. I'm using a brand new iPhone XS Max (Setup as new phone, so I didn't carry over any settings baggage). Nothing works to make the Personal Hotspot work. I've reset the network setting several times and that did not resolve my issue. I've spoken to Spectrum several times now and I just found out they are aware of an issue that started with IOS 12 and that Apple was working on a fix. As far as an ETA, I'm not sure what that means or how really is fixing this issue.

I have the exact same issue with Spectrum Mobile, as well as the same exact phone. I've also spoken to them multiple times and they say the same thing -- that it's a manufacturer issue and not a Spectrum Mobile issue. They actually say it's a known issue for the iPhone XS Max with all carriers. The ETA I received was very obscure: some time "between end of October or mid-late December". That sounds like a pretty broad range. Basically means, they don't know.
