Deleting photos from iPhone
I have approximately 1000 photos on the iPhone Camera Roll. I can see how to delete one or two, but how do I delete ALL of them?

Hello,
Delete multiple photos
Here’s a tip—when you update your device to iOS 10 or later, you can tap, hold, and slide to select multiple photos and videos in a single swipe.

Thanks, are you sure? I have over 1000 photos, I cannot tap and select every one of them individually! The phone won't upgrade to iOS 10. There used to be a 'select all' feature . Does anyone know where that is now hidden? Or, is there a way to do this in Photos - as used to be possible with iPhoto?
