Why can’t I remove anyone from a group chat?
i created a group chat and one of the people on their wants me to remove them. No matter how much I try, videos I watch, people I ask. I cannot delet/remove the contact from the chat.

You can only do so for a group imessage - all participant are using an Apple device, can't do it for a MMS group message if there an Android user.
Create a new thread and omit the person who wants out.
