Charging cord connection issues

My iPhone 7 will not connect with consistency to the charging cord plug. Seems to be on the female part on the phone since I can work and push it sometimes to get it connecting. Any easy answers?

use a tooth pick to clean out lint and dirt from the connector in you phone
