I had to create a larger partition for Bootcamp using Windows 7 Pro. I have the disc I used originally, went through the Bootcamp assistant to delete old partition, then tried to start the Bootcamp assistant using my Windows 7 install disc. When I insert it, the MacBook Pro recognizes the disc, but when I hit continue, it pops up saying Windows 10 not supported and to insert a Windows 7 or 8 disc. Please advise.
One option is to download the ISO from Microsoft's Download Windows 7 Disc Images (ISO Files) using the Product Key on your DVDs and burning it to a DVD-R SL, instead of using the discs you currently have.
Does the W7 disc have multiple 'versions' of W7 - Ultimate, Home, Pro, etc.,?
No, it is just a Windows 7 Professional. I also have a Windows 7 Ultimate, and that says the same thing when inserted.
What is the year/model of your Mac (do not post the serial number)?

I tried that, and it did not work, same message comes up.
Insert the DVD in the Optical drive, and post the output of
diskutil list

I think it may be working now, just tried again and it's starting to go through Windows install. I'll let you know if I have further issues. Thank you so much for your help!
