Music off a couple of albums I’ve bought are missing

So I’ve noticed that music off a couple of albums I’ve bought are missing. When I go to the iTunes Store and search up the album the missing songs just show as “purchased” while the other songs show as “play”.

The phone is an iPhone 7 Plus and has iOS 11. I’ve tried looking it up in the downloads option in the iTunes Store but nothing is there nor in the “not in this phone” option.

See Hide and unhide music, movies, TV shows, audiobooks, and books - Apple Support. The store will show Purchased against a past purchase that is currently hidden whereas it will show Play for one that is not.

If they say Play they they should be available to stream or download if not stored locally, or simply play of they are. See Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books - Apple Support. It might, I suppose, be necessary to remove a current download and then redownload if the device somehow holds a corrupt copy that won't play.
