Iphone Xs AppleCare Plus with loss and Theft

Hello,
I have a doubt. What happens if I buy an iPhone Xs in an Apple store in California, and Apple Care plus with loss and theft?

I live in Spain now but I'm going to the USA on hollidays.

If my screen breaks, I would be covered in Spain? if someone stole my iPhone or i loss it, i will be covered in Spain?

until I returns to the USA I could not ask for replacement or repair?

In some countries like Spain, there is no apple care plus, I will be covered in that countries? Would I be covered in countries that do have apple care plus that are not USA like for example France?? I've only seen this aditional protection in USA.

Thanks

The loss and theft is only available to people with a USA based method of payment and a USA billing address. Insurance is a regulated industry and is regulated by each state in the USA independently. Loss and theft coverage is provided through a partnership with Assurant, a New York based insurance company. Apple is not licensed to sell insurance anywhere - they are partnering with an insurance company to offer coverage and the terms and limitations of that insurance will restrict sales and claims to the USA.
