I can’t get Memoji to work

I have iPhone 7 Plus and downloaded IOS 12. I followed instructions on Apple website, but Memoji simply isn’t there. What am I doing wrong?

What you're doing wrong is trying to find a feature that requires an iPhone X or higher on an iPhone 7 Plus. You need an iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max or Xr to use memoji.
