How can I convert mxf files to quicktime?

I can view my files with Elmedia Player & need to get the files ready so the editor can work with them in Premiere. I don't have the editing software on my computer. Just want to have files in QT so she can work with them. Tried open the files with QT but it won't open them. Thank you.
