When attempting to change from grid view to list view on Apple Watch Series 4 with WatchOS 5, the option Is given to rearrange the apps but the option to change to list view does not pop up. (Using force touch from honeycomb grid view of home screen) Is there another way?

I had the same problem. I re-started my Apple Watch and it works fine now.
Have you tried to erase the device and start over?

The Home screen can display apps in a grid or list view. To choose one, follow these steps:
Press the Digital Crown to go to the Home screen.
Firmly press the display, then tap Grid View or List View.
Thanks. I was trying to remember how I set this on my Watch 3. People can also use the Watch App on the phone to set up the Watch Dock to set one's favorite 10 apps for an even more distilled collection of apps. Makes getting to one's favorites even quicker.
Same exact thing is happening to me as well. New series 4 watch, cannot get the force touch to bring up the option for list view.
