It seems too difficult to access my device history without a court ordered subpoena. Why is that so?

Is there anyone to view the list of devices that have ever been connected to your apple id account? It seems rather easy if my phone has been completely hijacked by someone that may have known or seen my password. Can someone please help me out with this or tell me why?
