IOS 12 update on iPad Air2

My iPad Air 2 won’t download the latest IOS update 12. I keep getting an error message that says unable to update with the option to retry or remind me later. Anyone else having this problem?

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 8

If you have a computer with iTunes 12.8/9 installed, you can use iTunes to install IOS 12.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.

Try a restart.

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Try a forced restart.

Thanks Eric. Had tried all but connecting to iTunes on a computer. After several days of trying i just noticed storage requirements for this upgrade. I was short and offloaded several apps then was able to do the update. I think it should have stated the reason it was unable to perform the update in the error message it was giving me, but it didn’t.
